Jacques et les Haricots Magiques
Un jour, dans un pays lointain, un pauvre garçon nommé Jacques a décidé de vendre sa vache pour de l'argent. Sur le chemin du marché, il rencontra un homme étrange qui lui demanda d'acheter sa vache contre des haricots magiques. Curieux Jacques a vendu la vache au voyageur.
One day, in a faraway land, a poor boy named Jack decided to sell his cow for some money. On the way to the market, he encountered a strange man who asked to buy his cow for some magical beans. Curious Jack sold the cow to the traveler.
Jacques était ravi de voir ce que les haricots pouvaient faire. Quand il est rentré chez lui, cependant, la mère de Jack était furieuse qu'il soit revenu sans argent. Jack was excited to see what the beans could do. When he returned home, however, Jack's mother was furious that he returned without any money. She angrily threw the beans out of the window. The next morning, outside was the world's tallest beanstalk. It went all the way up to the clouds.

Jack wondered what was up at the top of the beanstalk. He decided to climb to the top. After climbing for quite some time, the beanstalk finally came to an end. At the top he came across a strange land with a castle in the distance.

Jack slowly entered an noticed a huge giant sleeping inside. He quietly began to explore the castle and found a room full of treasure. He decided to take some back with him, so that he and his mother would no longer be poor.

Just as Jack was about to leave the castle, the giant woke up and saw Jack. He began chasing Jack in anger, but Jack managed to escape. He descended down the beanstalk as fast as he could. After what felt like an eternity, Jack finally reached the ground. He quickly grabbed an ax and chopped down the beanstalk. The beanstalk fell and the giant disappeared.
