Private Data We Receive And Collect

Lingua Bud also automatically collects and receives certain information from your computer or mobile device, including the activities you perform on our Website, the Platforms, and the Applications, the type of hardware and software you are using (for example, your operating system or browser), and information obtained from cookies. For example, each time you visit the Website or otherwise use the Services, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, access times, the web page from which you came, the regions from which you navigate the web page, and the web page(s) you access (as applicable).

Lingua Bud SaaS language learning platform uses visitors' data for the following general purposes:

1. To identify you when you login to your account
2. To enable us to operate the Services and provide them to you
3. To verify your transactions and for purchase confirmation, billing, security, and authentication (including security tokens for communication with installed)
4. To analyze the Website or the other Services and information about our visitors and users, including research into our user demographics and user behaviour in order to improve our content and Services
5. To contact you about your account and provide customer service support, including responding to your comments and questions
6. To share aggregate (non-identifiable) statistics about users of the Services to prospective advertisers and partners
7. To keep you informed about the Services, features, surveys, newsletters, offers, surveys, newsletters, offers, contests and events we think you may find useful or which you have requested from us

Payment Data

Lingua Bud uses Stripe to process all payments on the platform. When you make a payment, your payment card details (card number, expiry date, CVV) are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment interface and are never stored by Lingua Bud. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

Lingua Bud does store the following payment-related information in our own systems:

• Booking records including lesson date, amount paid, currency, and payment status.
• Stripe Payment Intent IDs and Stripe Connect account identifiers for instructors, used to associate payouts with instructor accounts.
• Refund status records for cancelled or disputed lessons.

For instructors, Stripe may collect additional personal information as part of their identity verification process, including government-issued ID and bank account details. This data is collected and stored by Stripe, not Lingua Bud. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Service Providers

Lingua Bud uses the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database (Firestore), and file storage. Used to manage user accounts and store platform data. Firebase Privacy

We share only the minimum data necessary with each provider to deliver the service. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes (for example, payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law).

Customer Content We Process

Lingua Bud is a language learning platform. By its nature, we enable users to connect with each other, teach each other languages, hire instructors, and use language learning resources, all in one place.

User-generated content such as profile information, messages, and lesson notes are stored in our database and are accessible only to the relevant users (for example, messages are visible only to the conversation participants).

Consent

By using any of the Services, or submitting or collecting any Personal Information via the Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure, and use of your Personal Information in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the use of your Personal Information in these ways, please stop using the Services.
