Tips to help you start out with your new Lingua Bud:

Follow the conversation below and say each word slowly if necessary.

Ask your Lingua Bud to repeat a phrase if you did not understand.

Ask your Lingua Bud if you can record your conversation and listen to it later.

Set up a schedule to practice as much as possible. We suggest 10 minutes a day to begin. 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Italian.

Don't worry about making mistakes or having a strong accent. Everyone has to start somewhere!

Encourage your partner to keep going and give constructive feedback. Support each other.
First Conversation in English/Italian (Prima Conversazione in Inglese/Italiano)
Use this conversation as a guide with your Lingua Bud:

Ciao. Come stai? - 'Hello. How are you?'

Sto bene, e tu? - 'I'm good, and you?'

Eccellente. Da quanto tempo studi inglese? - 'Excellent. How long have you been studying English for?'

Studio inglese da due anni. - 'I have been studying English for two years.'

Da quanto tempo studi italiano? - 'How long have you been studying Italian for?'

Studio italiano da tre anni. - 'I have been studying Italian for three years.'

Molto bene. Hai mai viaggiato in Italia? - 'Very good. Have you ever traveled to Italy?'

Sì. Sono andato tre anni fa. - 'Yes. I went three years ago.'

Hai visitato un paese di lingua inglese? - 'Have you visited an English-speaking country?'
